I enjoyed this restaurant quite a bit. From the short braised rib bao buns to the duck dumplings--it was fantastic my mouth was exploding with flavor! The Zen Inferno is a must try drink too! The lighting is dimmed but not dark enough to not see the menu, beautiful decor, and our server Regan (sorry if I misspelled) was very pleasant and attentive. Overall great experience.
Five stars plus.... Gorgeous ambiance, perfect for date nights, family gatherings, just anyone who loves good food and great service. Nevaeh was amazing. She knew every item on the menu. The watermelon salad with fresh avocados, cucumber and onion in a citrus vinaigrette was outstanding. The teriyaki steak divine. Complimentary donuts for dessert. We had a fabulous meal at the PJK that just opened last week in Coconut Point, Estero. The quality of the food, the service, the presentation and the ambiance of the restaurant was excellent. We will definately return. We had lunch here. They serve a specialty water/cold tea upon arrival and then offer you complimentary bite size puff pastry with powerdered sugar and chocolate for dessert. The fried rice is unlike any I have ever had, with tons of flavor and the dumpling soup was large enough for two to share. So glad we finally have a great Asian/Chinese option in the area. (sorry I forgot to take pictures) I highly reccommend.
We had an awesome dinner at PJK in Naples! Tried the Mongolian Beef, General Tso's Chicken, the Sea Bass, and the Pork Dumplings... everything was packed with flavor. It's definitely a step up from your typical PF Chang's experience--more authentic and better quality all around. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, which made the whole experience even better. We'll definitely be coming back! If you're in the area, this spot is a must-try if you are looking for your chinese food fix.
We tried PJK Chinese restaurant, and fell in love! I have been searching for a Chinese style restaurant in Naples that was more on the trendy, higher end side with delicious classic dishes, and this place absolutely nailed it! The ambience is so cozy and welcoming, but yet still trendy, and really authentically on brand. They have a huge bar area, some outdoor seating and a dining room that transitions into a smaller back dining room. Not a bad seat in the house. We ordered the pork dumplings and chicken dumpling soup to start. Both were delicious although the soup needed a bit of salt. For our entrées, we ordered the Kung pow chicken and the chicken lo mein both were fantastic! We did ask for extra sauce for both dishes, which I think really elevated both of them. I do wish there was an option to upgrade to fried rice, but the white rice does come with each meal. They are also serving up a delicious cocktail menu. I ordered a Cosmo and my boyfriend ordered the rose colored glasses. Both were delicious, but I was jealous of the glitter in his drink so the bartender was awesome and put some glitter in mine as well! Overall, we had a really great experience, and with all of the awesome items on the menu, and I made a promise to myself to try a new dish each time I go! Which means we will be going back often...Lol thanks for a great date night! Ps: I would love to see this spot get some crispy noodles for the table! :)
I really enjoyed PJK-- the ambiance, food, and service were excellent and I can't wait to go back. Some of the earlier reviews of PJK discuss poor service and food, but I think the kinks have been worked out and the restaurant is running smoothly. We ordered the dumpling soup which I would recommend as a must-try item. The broth was flavorful and rich with small dumplings. We split it between 4 people in small bowls. Next up was the pepper steak. We really enjoyed this dish because it was full of peppers and onions along with the beef. The Dan Dan noodles are my new obsession! They have all of the salt-fat-acid-heat flavors you look for in a Chinese noodle dish. We also got the fried rice with shrimp which was tasty, but nothing to write home about. Lastly, PJK makes excellent cocktails. Everything from the cocktail list sounded delicious and the martinis we had were made appropriately. Check out PJK next time you're in naples.
